Nicole Park is a corporate/commercial and securities lawyer. She has worked on and managed a variety of private mergers and acquisitions, involving both domestic and cross-border acquisitions. Nicole also works on corporate reorganizations, corporate governance matters and private equity transactions. She provides day-to-day advice on business partnerships, corporate finance matters and commercial agreements.
Nicole recently spent a year working as in-house counsel for Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited. A TSX-listed issuer, Canadian Tire Corporation has a family of businesses that include a retail segment, a financial services division and CT REIT. Nicole worked with all of these businesses. As a result, she gained significant experience in the retail industry and acted on a variety of matters related to securities law, exchange requirements, corporate governance and corporate finance.
Nicole is also a former alternate legal board member of the Ontario Cancer Research Ethics Board, an expert central oncology research ethics board serving almost every hospital in Ontario that conducts cancer clinical trials.
In addition to her legal and volunteer work, Nicole regularly lectures and writes on corporate law matters.
