Alex Kotkas

Alex is a senior litigator in the firm's Calgary office. He is the head of the litigation group in Calgary and also serves on various national and regional committees within the firm. 

Alex has extensive trial and appellate experience at all levels of court in Canada and appears as counsel before a variety of statutory boards and tribunals. He provides practical advice and outstanding advocacy in high risk and high stakes litigation. He regularly handles high profile or media sensitive cases. The media consults him often for public comment on current legal issues. 

Alex received Lexpert's "Rising Star" award (2008), which recognizes Canada's top legal talent less than 40 years of age. Lexpert's U.S. Guide lists Alex as a "Canadian Litigation Lawyer to Watch."
