Karin joins Fasken following the completion of her first year of law school at the University of Alberta. In her first year, Karin volunteered as a case worker with Student Legal Service. She also served as a member of the Women’s Law Forum and the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers (UAlberta).
Prior to law school, Karin competed as a Division 1 NCAA tennis player while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. During this time, she was appointed team captain and served as a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and the Diversity Task Force.
