Jean-Pierre Chamberland advises clients from various economic sectors on matters such as financing and mergers & acquisitions as well as various commercial transactions. Jean-Pierre also advises and assists management of public issuers on compliance with securities laws and corporate governance. He has been involved in financing transactions for junior and senior issuers and dealers in almost every industry sector, including banking, manufacturing, telecommunications, information technology, biotech, resources and retail. He has also been involved in various merger and acquisition transactions, including on behalf of acquirers, targets and independent committees. In addition, Jean-Pierre has developed an expertise in derivatives where he advises financial institutions in respect of the structuring of various derivatives financing transactions.

Jean-Pierre has been an infrequent speaker at conferences on securities and financing matters.
