Koker Christensen is Co-Leader of the Firm’s Financial Institutions Group.

Koker’s practice focuses on advising banks, insurers, trust companies, credit unions, insurance agents/brokers and other financial service providers on mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, reinsurance transactions, corporate governance, distribution arrangements and a wide variety of corporate and regulatory matters. He also advises financial institutions on incorporation and licensing. Koker frequently deals with the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) and other financial institutions regulators.

In addition, Koker regularly advises on anti-money laundering requirements and has provided expert testimony regarding terrorist financing before the House of Commons’ Standing Committee on Finance.
