A partner at Fasken for over 20 years, Marie-Josée Neveu has been practising at the firm for more than 30 years. She has served as Chair of the firm’s Partnership Board since January 2024. She is recognized for her leadership and extensive governance experience, and has served on the boards of several organizations, including the Institute of Corporate Directors (Québec Chapter), Centraide of Greater Montreal and Tourisme Montréal. She was also named one of WXN’s 2026 Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada in the Board category.

A significant part of her practice is dedicated to advising boards of directors, special committees, executives and major shareholders on disclosure obligations, shareholder proposals, proxy contests, corporate governance, and other corporate issues.
