Richard J. Clare

Richard Clare specializes in real estate and commercial law, with considerable expertise in real estate development, portfolio dispositions and acquisitions and financings. He regularly advises purchasers, vendors, developers and real estate agents on issues relating to the sale, purchase, development and zoning of buildings and in matters relating to commercial leases. His advice is frequently solicited by players in the hotel industry, where he acts on behalf of hotel owners and managers. He plays a leading role in the development of office, commercial and residential projects, including the downtown Montreal YMCA, Benny Farm, the Montreal World Trade project, 1000 de La Gauchetière and the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec head office project.
