Aisha Khalif is a law student at Queen’s University, Faculty of Law, where she is actively involved in the academic and professional community.
During her 1L year, she volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, where she led a radio project on emerging torts in Canada. She also served as a 1L Representative for the Mergers and Acquisitions Club and was a member of the Black Law Students’ Association. Aisha has a strong interest in academic scholarship and legal research. During her 2L year, she served as Managing Editor of Volunteers for the Queen’s Law Journal, overseeing the work of more than 40 volunteers. She will return to the senior editorial board this upcoming year as Co-Editor-in-Chief. Prior to law school, Aisha earned a Bachelor of Arts from York University. During her undergraduate studies, she held several leadership roles, including Assistant Director of Oral Advocacy with the Pre-Law Society and the Undergraduate Political Science Council.
Outside of her academic work, Aisha enjoys cycling, cooking, and hiking scenic trails.
