The return of the Trump Administration (2.0) in 2025 caused reverberations around the world, including in the BHR field. The panel will delve into the impact of the political, economic and social turbulence, throughout 2025, on the approach to BHR by governments and corporations in 2026.
The panel will describe the transformation of BHR from an earlier version heavily influenced by government legislation to a more self-contained version driven by those corporations making the connection between their human rights footprint and the success of the business or industry. The panel will include subject-matter experts with close attention paid not just to the legal regime surrounding BHR but, also, the precise way in which the corporate world has responded in these turbulent times.
The Consolidated Mining Standard Initiative (CMSI) will be an important part of this discussion. The audience will gain a clear understanding of the current BHR space, as viewed through the corporate lens, including a prognosis aimed at assisting corporate forecasting and planning in 2026 and beyond.
Please join us for this timely and important discussion. Your input will be welcomed on the day.
