Uniserve acquires Parasun Technologies for US$12.5 million

On May 25, 2007, Uniserve Communications Corporation announced that it had acquired all of the shares of Parasun Technologies Inc., a private British Columbia based technology company, for a purchase price of up to $12.5 million. Parasun provides software and services to the cable and electric utility industries, enabling operators to deliver high-speed connectivity and other IP services to their customers. Parasun was advised in this transaction by Gary Ott and Prentice Durbin of Fasken Martineau.
