On January 8, 2009, FCI, a leading manufacturer and provider of connector and tooling solutions to the industrial, telecom, and energy industries, announced that it had acquired IMPLO Technologies, Inc., a leader in the field of implosive connector products for the utility market, based in Markham, Ontario.  FCI Canada was advised in this matter by a team from Fasken Martineau that included Sean Stevens and Daniel Fabiano (corporate/securities), Martin Denyes (employment), Craig Carter (real property) and Leanne Shaughnessy (information technology), assisted by students-at-law Laura Fetter and Louise Kennedy.
