Health Canada investigates US based global distributor of OEM medical device parts

Timothy Squire of Fasken Martineau was retained by a US based global distributor of OEM medical device components and parts in connection with an investigation by Health Canada for the importation and sale of medical devices without a Medical Device Establishment Licence. Tim developed a remedial plan and successfully negotiated a no-penalty/no-recall settlement with Health Canada.
