On January 18, 2017 ENERCON Canada Inc. (“ENERCON”) sold all of its interest in the 230 MW Niagara Region Wind Farm (“NRWF”) to Boralex Inc. ("Boralex") for total cash consideration of $232.4 million. The Project is equipped with 77 state-of-the-art ENERCON E-101 wind turbines of 3 MW each and provides power to thousands of Ontario homes with clean, emission and pollution free energy. Fasken Martineau advised ENERCON Canada Inc. with a team led by Peter Ascherl and that included Will Shaw, Laura Fetter (M&A), Jon J.
