Zayo Group Holdings, Inc. (Zayo) acquired Vancouver based Optic Zoo Networks Inc. for CAD $31 million. Optic Zoo owns and operates high-capacity fiber in Vancouver. The transaction closed on January 18, 2018.
The transaction strengthens Zayo’s position in Western Canada and will deepen Zayo’s customer base. This is especially true among the growing digital media, film, financial services, biotechnology and software development sectors, all large customers of bandwidth.
