Overview

The Union grieved the Employer’s implementation of a uniform policy and the individual discipline that had been issued for failure to abide by the policy. In dismissing the Union’s grievances, the Arbitrator determined that the infringement on personal expression was minimal and that the Employer was within its rights to establish different dress code requirements on different classifications.
