Fasken advised Xiana Mining Inc., a TSX-V listed company, in connection with its agreement to acquire all of the shares of Chilean copper-gold mining company Minera Altos de Punitaqui Ltda from Glencore plc for total cash consideration of $25 million and a net smelter royalty.
Completion of the acquisition is subject to regulatory and shareholder approval and is expected to occur during the third quarter of 2018. Fasken advised Xiana with a team consisting of Al Gourley, Brian Graves, Jodi Katz and Maurice Wong.
