Middlefield Group Completes Conversion of Middlefield Health Care & Wellness Dividend Fund and American Core Sectors Dividend Fund to Exchange-Traded Funds

Effective as of June 11, 2019 Middlefield Group completed the conversion of Middlefield Health Care & Wellness Dividend Fund (“Wellness”) and American Core Sectors Dividend Fund (“Core”) to exchange-traded funds (“ETFs”). Upon completion of the conversion, Wellness and Core began trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange as ETFs. Middlefield Limited, the manager of Wellness and Core, was advised by Fasken with a team that consisted of Stephen Erlichman, John Sabetti, Daniel Fuke and Russell Lindzon (Securities, Investment Products and Wealth Management) and Mitchell Thaw (Tax).
