On June 1, 2020, WELL Health Technologies Corp. (TSX:WELL) (“WELL”) completed the acquisition of Indivica Inc. (" Indivica ") in a deal worth C$6.2 million. WELL acquired all issued and outstanding shares of Indivica, expanding its Electronic Medical Records (“EMR”) services to approx.. 1,900 medical clinics and 10,000+ physicians.
WELL is the third largest supplier of EMR services in Canada, providing digital support and national telehealth services. WELL operates and owns 20 medical clinics and after acquiring Indivica, now provides EMR services to more than 1,900 medical clinics. This marks the seventh EMR acquisition for WELL, strengthening their platform as a prominent digital health supplier in Canada.
