On April 7, 2021, a syndicate of agents comprising Cormark Securities Inc. and Stifel Nicolaus Canada Inc. completed a C$13.5 million overnight marketed public offering for PharmaCielo Ltd., a company headquartered in Canada with cultivation and processing facilities in Colombia focused on supplying natural, medicinal-grade cannabis oil extracts and related products to large channel distributors.
Fasken advised the syndicate of underwriters on securities and tax matters with a team led by Myroslav Chwaluk and Paul Fornazzari, and which included Alexis Shamess (Securities), and Mitchell Thaw (Tax).
