On June 30, 2022, Lucid, Inc. ("LUCID"), a Toronto-based tech startup that offers personalized music playlists curated by artificial intelligence (AI) to help with mental wellness, closed a C$3.14 million seed financing round led by Amplify Capital.
The funding is aimed at fuelling more clinical research and developing a prescription digital therapeutic focused on reducing agitation and anxiety in dementia care.
Fasken acted for LUCID with a team led by Will Shaw that included Chris Dittrich and Alec Mcllwraith-Black.
