An insurance company based in Italy is claiming almost 250,000 euros for damage caused by the collision, including the cost of repairing the airplane wing and expert fees.
The insured is a multinational aerospace, security and defence company. It retained a shipping company to deliver certain material, including an airplane wing, to Québec. While the truck transporting the insured’s cargo was waiting for an escort to leave the port terminal, another truck leaving the terminal at high speed collided with the airplane wing.
The insured is therefore bringing a subrogatory action arising out of the collision that caused the damage.
A team composed of Nicolas-Karl Perrault and Noah Boudreau is representing the manufacturer in this matter.
