Hilton Hotels completes £3.3 billion acquisition of Hilton International

On February 23, 2006, Hilton Hotels Corporation announced that it had completed its acquisition of the lodging assets of Hilton Group plc for approximately £3.3 billion. Fasken Martineau advised Hilton Hotels with regard to real estate matters and other aspects of the sale of the shares in Hilton Canada Co. to Hilton Hotel Corporation (in relation to the Hilton Toronto, the Hilton Toronto Airport, the Hilton Quebec City and the Hilton Montreal Aeroport) with a team comprised of Dan Law, Tasha Lackman and Richard Clare.
