Khaleel Bateman graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School.
Prior to attending Osgoode, Khaleel obtained an undergraduate degree in Law & Society at York University. Upon the completion of his degree, Khaleel spent two years working in the Ontario Public Service for the Ministry of the Solicitor General and Cabinet Office. Khaleel was involved in several extracurricular activities and has immersed himself into the Osgoode community. Khaleel took part in the Curricular Changes Sub-Committee where he assisted in compiling and contributing recommendations for changes to the first-year curriculum at Osgoode. He also volunteered at a secondary school to assist ESL students with their literacy skills. Khaleel has been an active member of the Osgoode Chapter of the Black Law Students’ Association as well as Canadian Lawyers for International Human Rights. Khaleel enjoys being active, and assisted Osgoode’s flag football team in winning an intramural championship. In his spare time, Khaleel enjoys exercising, following his favourite sports teams, and trying new restaurants.
Khaleel summered with Fasken, during which he participated in the Firm’s Secondment Program and was seconded to the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.
