Overview

Marie-Hélène is a law student in our Montréal office.

Before undertaking her career in law, she obtained a bachelor’s degree in social work and practised at the Director of Youth Protection.

During her law studies at the University of Ottawa, Marie-Hélène acted as a research assistant for a project on Indigenous law. She also participated in an inter-faculty pleading competition at the 2022 edition of the Model United Nations in New York.

In recent years, Marie-Hélène has been involved socially, notably as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Montreal and as a volunteer with the national Pro Bono Students Canada network.

Prior to joining Fasken, Marie-Hélène completed a summer internship at a California firm specializing in real estate law, and she also worked as a student at a Montréal South Shore firm offering business law and litigation services.

In her spare time, Marie-Hélène regularly practises yoga, loves to cook and is always on the hunt for new reading suggestions.
