Michaëlle Guilbault is a lawyer with the Corporate and Commercial Law Group in our Québec City office. She began her legal career in commercial real estate and then expanded her practice to a number of other areas of business law, including mergers and acquisitions and corporate law matters.
She is involved in business acquisition and sale transactions, representing both buyers and sellers. Michaëlle also advises the firm's clients in the negotiation and drafting of various commercial agreements and private equity financings.
Michaëlle is known by her peers for her thoroughness and pragmatic approach to the transactional process. Her approach to commercial transactions is influenced by her willingness to understand the nature and imperatives of each client's business in order to better meet their specific objectives.
Since 2021, Michaëlle also invests her time in a cause that is close to her heart, by acting as Grand Ambassador of the Daffodil Benefit Diner ("Souper-bénéfice de la Jonquille") for the Canadian Cancer Society.
Before joining Fasken, Michaëlle practiced law at a major regional business law firm in Montréal.
