Michaëlle Guilbault is a lawyer with the Corporate and Commercial Law Group in our Québec City office. She began her legal career in commercial real estate and then expanded her practice to a number of other areas of business law, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate law matters, and commercial transactions in the infrastructure and transportation sectors.
Michaëlle is known by her peers for her rigour and her pragmatic and transparent approach to serving the needs of the firm’s clients. She represents sellers and purchasers in business acquisitions and sales. In addition, she advises the firm’s clients in connection with the negotiation and drafting of a variety of commercial agreements and with corporate reorganizations.
She is involved in her community as a member of the Jeune Chambre de commerce de Québec (JCCQ). She is a member of the Bourse Jeunes Entreprises committee of the JCCQ, which awards grants aimed at promoting the success of startups in the Québec City area.
Before joining Fasken, Michaëlle practiced law at a major regional business law firm in Montréal.
