Overview

Ryley Alp practices communications law with a particular focus on broadcasting in Fasken's Ottawa office.

Ryley graduated magna cum laude from the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law. During law school, she gained significant experience in policy and regulation with internships at the Samuelson-Glushko Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic (CIPPIC) as well as a major telecommunications company. Ryley articled with Fasken and then held a position as a Judicial Clerk at the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal.

Prior to law school, Ryley completed a Bachelor of Arts in Media, Information & Technoculture from Western University and a diploma in Television Broadcasting from Fanshawe College. Ryley then spent several years working as a production coordinator in the Ottawa film industry.

In her spare time, Ryley loves baking, practicing yoga, playing fantasy football and going on walks with her cat, Poe.
