The Canada Life Assurance Company

The Defendant Horne fraudulently persuaded the Plaintiff to provide him with funds which he represented would be invested in an annuity contract to be issued by the Defendant Canada Life Assurance Company. The funds were pocketed by Horne. The Plaintiff alleges that Canada Life was vicariously liable.
