Overview

Ainsleigh E. E. Mensah is a current JD Candidate at the University of Victoria, Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, Ainsleigh completed her BA, Honours in Criminology, completing her qualitative field study titled; Indigenous Voices on At-Risk Females: A Qualitative Study of Community and Resource Worker Perspectives.

Ainsleigh is of Ghanian descent and grew up in Toronto, ON and Terrace, BC. Before law school, she worked as a legal assistant at a boutique law firm for over five years, sparking her interest in advocacy. During her undergraduate degree, she played five years of varsity women’s basketball. Ainsleigh is an avid reader who enjoys reviewing literature in her free time and immersing herself in civil activism.
