Overview

Alexander Bayus is a partner in our Litigation and Dispute Resolution group at the Montréal office. He specializes in insolvency and financial restructuring.

In the course of his career, Alexander has advised numerous clients, including companies, financial institutions and other stakeholders, in connection with various complex national and international financial restructuring, commercial litigation and insolvency matters.

Alexander has argued cases before the Quebec Superior Court and the Quebec Court of Appeal. He frequently represents clients from a number of industries in civil and commercial litigation.

In addition, he is recognized by the Best Lawyers in Canada and Canadian Legal Lexpert directories for his experience and excellence in the field of insolvency and financial restructuring.

Alexander is active in his community and is a member of INSOL and the Turnaround Management Association. He is also chair of the board of directors of S.Au.S., an organization whose mission is to provide programs aimed at improving the quality of life of people living with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.
