Emails sent directly by our lawyers and personnel come from an address ending in @fasken.com, not from Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, or another public email service. Email addresses can be falsified, however, so the appearance of an @fasken.com address does not by itself confirm that a message is genuine.
We do not change our payment instructions by email, and we do not ask you to make payments through WhatsApp or another messaging application. Any new or revised payment instructions should be independently verified with us before you act on them.
If you receive an unexpected or unusual communication claiming to come from Fasken, exercise caution before responding, opening attachments, clicking links, providing information, or making a payment. If you are uncertain whether a communication is genuine, contact your usual Fasken lawyer or one of our offices using the contact information published on this website.
Communications of this kind are created and sent by third parties without Fasken’s knowledge or authorization.
