Angela Liang completed her Juris Doctor at Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to law school, she earned a Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in Business Law from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia.
At UBC, Angela cultivated her passion for innovation and entrepreneurship through several leadership roles, including serving as President of a social change organization dedicated to applying entrepreneurial solutions to issues facing local communities. Angela brought this same passion to the Osgoode community through her involvement with Osgoode's IP Innovation Clinic. As a Clinic Fellow, Clinic Coordinator, and Research Assistant, she produced informational memos for clients on patent and trademark questions, managed a varied caseload of intellectual property files, and delivered in-depth analysis on IP ownership and its commercial opportunities. Angela also served as Vice President of the Competition Law Society and Vice President of the Asian Law Students Association.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and solving puzzles.
Angela summered with Fasken, during which she participated in the Firm’s Secondment Program and was seconded to The Co-operators Group Limited.
