Ankish joined Fasken’s Vancouver office as a student in 2025, after completing his second year at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia.
While at Allard, Ankish served as Co-President for the South Asian Law Students’ Association (SALSA), where he also supports fellow students as a peer tutor. He participated in the Corporate Counsel Externship in Spring 2025, gaining practical in-house legal experience. He also plays on Allard’s intramural basketball team, The Dead Precedents.
Ankish previously earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UBC, graduating with High Distinction in 2023.
Outside of law, Ankish is a competitive powerlifter who represented Team Canada at the Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships in South Africa. He also enjoys playing and watching basketball and hockey, and spending time with friends and family.
