Overview

Ariel Laver is a corporate/commercial lawyer in Vancouver who primarily provides strategic, legal and commercial advice to clients looking to acquire, transfer and develop technology. He also advises private companies on a wide range of issues including start-up and incorporation, commercial arrangements, financing transactions, M&A, and corporate reorganizations.

Ariel has substantial experience advising on and drafting agreements for a wide range of commercial matters, including technology procurement, software licensing, software as a service (SaaS) subscriptions, manufacturing, collaboration, joint development, consulting services, confidentiality, reseller and sales representative arrangements.

Prior to practising law, Ariel obtained his Chartered Professional Accountant designation while working with an international accounting firm.
