Arlina Ramothar is a Senior Associate in the Commercial Property Team in Johannesburg. She specialises in conveyancing work for commercial property transactions, including inter alia township establishments, transfers of property (residential and commercial), registration of leases and servitudes, sectional title scheme developments, consolidations, notarial ties and various bond related transactions.
Her expertise also includes a variety of notarial work such as the authentication or apostille of documents intended for use overseas, drafting and registration of notarial bonds and drafting and registration of notarial leases or notarial servitudes. As part of the Commercial Property Team, Arlina has been involved in advising on property-related disputes and the financing of renewable energy projects and as such, she has exposure to conducting a number of legal due diligences, providing legal opinions and assisting transactions in reaching Financial and Commercial Closes.
