Arvin Mahmoodi is a second-year law student at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law.
Prior to law school, he completed a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at Dalhousie University, where he was recognized on the Dean’s List and received two NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Awards. While at Dalhousie, Arvin co-founded and served as President of the Dalhousie Brain Cancer Awareness Society, in addition to being an active volunteer in other clubs and extracurricular programs. Before pursuing law, Arvin gained experience as a Leasing Agent, primarily in the residential sector. At law school, Arvin was an Executive Member of the Environmental Law Club and a Researcher at the Future of Law Lab. Last summer, Arvin worked as a Law Student at a full-service law firm, where he gained experience in both transactional and litigation matters.
In his spare time, Arvin enjoys martial arts, watching movies, and exploring new restaurants.
