Overview

Experience

Her experience prior to joining Fasken includes working at a leading African law firm, where she assisted on a range of complex public and private M&A transactions across the mining, FMCG, renewable energy, technology, and industrial sectors. During this time, she played supporting and lead roles on high‑profile matters, including preparing and reviewing core transaction documentation, coordinating multi‑disciplinary due diligence investigations, and drafting legal memoranda on regulatory and corporate governance issues.

Her work included contributing to major publicly reported transactions such as an acquisition within the mining sector, where she prepared drafting on Takeover Regulations, JSE Listings Requirements and post‑merger governance. She also gained significant experience drafting sale of business and sale of shares agreements, consolidating specialist input for incorporation into transaction documents, preparing negotiation materials, and managing timelines across various workstreams.

In addition, she supported legal services to clients in the renewable energy sector, where she led due diligence on acquisitions of interests in large‑scale solar developments, reviewing corporate records, project contracts, and permitting documents to identify material legal and commercial risks.
