Aurélie Ménard joined the Fasken team in the winter of 2021, after completing her Bachelor of Law at Université de Montréal and her training at the Barreau du Québec.
Aurélie took advantage of her university studies to accumulate a variety of experiences. She was involved as a community centre volunteer for Pro Bono Students Canada and supported start-up businesses at the Université de Montréal legal clinic. Aurélie also completed a summer program at the China University of Political Science and Law, where she learned the basics of the Chinese legal system.
Before joining Fasken, Aurélie worked as a law student in a boutique litigation firm, where she assisted professionals with matters in various areas such as class actions, professional liability and construction law.
Along with her legal experiences, Aurélie developed an interest in health sciences. She has collaborated on various research projects on cystic fibrosis through a position in a pulmonary microbiology laboratory, and lent a hand at a CHSLD during the pandemic.
