Ben recently completed his second year at Thompson Rivers University. He has served as a teaching assistant and research assistant for several professors. During his first year, Ben was the recipient of the Dean’s Course Prizes in Crime: Law & Procedure and Legal Perspectives. While at TRU, Ben has served as the Chair of the Society of Law Students’ Conference, represented TRU in the 2022 Wilson Moot and won the 2021 TRU Environmental Negotiation. After graduation, he looks forward to clerking with the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Prior to law school, Ben worked at a non-profit in Vancouver and at a corporate and financial communications firm in San Francisco, California.
Ben completed his undergraduate degree at Claremont McKenna College with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Government. At CMC, Ben served as the President of his class, a Resident Assistant and won the H.N. Berger Prize for Outstanding Senior Man and the Alumni Association Citizenship Award.
In his spare time, Ben enjoys playing pick-up basketball, watching stand-up comedy, and exploring the Lower Mainland’s many cafés.
