Brittany Vanword is an Articling Student in Fasken's Toronto office.

Brittany graduated from Western University, Faculty of Law, where she was on the Dean’s Honor List and received the Law Society of Ontario Prize for ranking amongst the top 15 students of the graduating class. She was also awarded the Brad Hodgson Civil Litigation Award in both 2020 and 2021. Prior to law school, she earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Public Policy from the University of Guelph. She then worked as a Marketing Coordinator at an international engineering consulting firm for several years. In addition to coordinating marketing and business development initiatives, she gained experience reviewing client service contracts and assisting with technical reports such as physical due diligence reports in real estate transactions. While at law school, Brittany was actively involved in the community. She worked as a Team Leader at Community Legal Services where she managed her own files in small claims, criminal defence, family, and housing matters. She also acted as a Student Ambassador, 3L Mentor, Vice President of Events for Western Women in Law, Co-Chair of Western Law’s Wellness Committee, Co-Chair of the Student Appeals Committee, and volunteered with London Lawyers Feed the Hungry. In her spare time, Brittany enjoys camping, HIIT workouts, murder mysteries, and board games.

Brittany summered at the firm in 2021 and was seconded to the University Health Network.
