Overview

Carmen recently completed her second year of law school at Osgoode Hall Law School, where she was awarded the Osgoode Hall Law School Upper Year Award of Excellence for outstanding academic achievement. Since her first year of law school, she has volunteered with Law in Action Within Schools (LAWS) as a one-to-one tutor and group tutor for high school students in Toronto.

Carmen has a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree from McGill University, with a major concentration in Chemistry and minor concentration in East Asian Studies. Prior to entering law school, Carmen worked at an immigration and business law firm in Vancouver. She also volunteered with Vancouver Coastal Health in a program for the elderly.

In her spare time, Carmen enjoys summer and winter hiking, singing, travelling, and skiing.
