Daniel C. Lee is a member of the Corporate/Commercial, Tax and Banking groups in Fasken's Vancouver office. His practice focuses on corporate immigration law and employer immigration compliance.
Daniel advises and represents clients in numerous areas related to immigration. His practice is primarily focused on corporate immigration, including facilitating global mobility for employees and facilitating their permanent residence in Canada. Daniel also works closely with employers in developing workplace policies to ensure their workplaces are in compliance with Canadian immigration laws and policies.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Daniel advises his clients on the frequent changes in immigration laws, including the Quarantine Act and the travel exemptions.
Daniel has extensive experience in providing immigration services to Canadian and foreign-based companies in a wide range of industry sectors, including oil and gas, telecommunication and information technology, and manufacturing. Daniel also assists his clients in making applications for permanent residency in Canada under the economic class, the Provincial Nominee Program (including Entrepreneur stream), and Family Class Sponsorship.
Daniel is a CPHR Candidate and worked as a human resources professional at a multinational corporation prior to attending law school. Given his background, when representing corporate clients, Daniel fully understands the human resources needs and timelines of his clients.
