Darrell J. Wickstrom's practice covers a range of tax and corporate/commercial matters, including estate planning and estate administration. He also assists owners of closely held companies with respect to their diverse legal needs, including business succession planning. Darrell also advises members and boards of not-for-profit organizations.
In addition to considerable experience in shareholders’ agreements, Darrell assists fiduciaries, on the administration of complex trusts and estates. He has significant experience drafting wills and trusts, powers of attorney and representation agreements.
Darrell holds an LLM in US tax and from 2007 to 2016 was an adjunct professor of law at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. Earlier in his career, he was seconded to one of Tokyo's largest law firms where he worked on a variety of international transactions. He continues to provide advice on Canada-Japan commercial transactions.
