David graduated from the Faculty of Law at Thompson Rivers University (TRU) in 2022 where he competed in the University of British Columbia and TRU environmental negotiation moots; developed and led Truth and Reconciliation Day peer group activities; participated in the TRU Battle of the Apps competition and guest lectured in TRU’s school of business and economics. David summered at Fasken after his second year of law school and in his last semester, David was a nine-credit student clinician at the TRU Community Legal Clinic.
Prior to attending law school, David was part of a team that founded a renewable energy company which provided remote solar and battery power solutions to indigenous communities and industrial clients. David was involved in sales, project management and leading on-site installation teams.
In his spare time, David enjoys staying active and reading/listening to podcasts about health, history and science. He also enjoys working on vehicles and improving as a photographer.
