Overview

Dev Singh is Co-Leader of Fasken's Banking and Finance group, and a member of the Firm’s ESG Steering Committee and Student Committee. Dev’s practice concentrates on domestic and cross-border leveraged finance transactions and other debt financings in a variety of industries including automotive, food & beverage, telecommunications, media and retail.

Dev has extensive experience representing banks and other financial institutions in a variety of debt finance transactions, including first and second lien credit facilities, bridge loans, acquisition financings, capital calls, refinancing and recapitalization facilities, intercreditor arrangements and secured creditor issues.

Dev is consistently recognized as a top practitioner in the leading legal directories in debt finance. Amongst such recognitions, Dev is ranked by Chambers Canada, IFLR1000, Best Lawyers, Lexpert, Legal500 and Lexology. Dev also worked as a leveraged finance attorney in the New York office of Paul Hastings LLP. Dev received his J.D. from Western University and a MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business.
