Diana was hired at Fasken in the summer of 2020, after completing her second year of the joint B.C.L./J.D. program at McGill University. Diana is especially interested in the area of corporate/commercial law, having previously worked for a notable Montreal-based Venture Capital fund.
Prior to commencing law school, Diana completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Accounting, where she was awarded the J W McConnell Scholarship for outstanding academic achievement. In an attempt to marry her love of law and business, Diana also held a position as a Teaching Assistant for the Business Law course offered at the Desautels Faculty of Management. Upon completion of her law studies, Diana became the proud recipient of the I.M.E. Prize in Commercial Law, awarded to the member of the graduating class with the highest academic standing in Commercial Law throughout the program.
In addition to professional and academic endeavors, Diana is actively involved in her community. She volunteered both as a caseworker at McGill’s Legal Information Clinic and as workshop coordinator for the Law Education Connection (L.E.X) Program.
Passionate about food and travel, Diana also enjoys reading, nature and fitness.
