Douglas G. Gilbert’s serves as strategic advisor and advocate on behalf of many national and multinational employers. His practice focuses on collective bargaining, labour and employment litigation. He represents clients before federal and provincial labour relations boards, in arbitration proceedings and in employment and human rights claims before the courts and tribunals.

Douglas is an experienced negotiator and labour litigator who is mindful of the importance of achieving client objectives, while respecting relations with employees and their representatives.

Douglas is frequently consulted by employers whose plans for a different compensation structure, an updated service standard or a new business venture are dependent on reforming established terms of employment.
