Overview

In January 2024, the Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act will come into force. Businesses to which the Act applies will be required to produce their first annual reports by May 31, 2024. This session will consider the context in which the Act was passed, which entities the Act applies to and reporting requirements. We will also discuss implications of this new mandatory regulation of corporate human rights behaviour and the way it intersects with other legal and ESG developments.
