The implementation of return-to-work policies: risks and good practices. Five years after the shift to remote work, it’s time to assess the legal implications.
This workshop provides an overview of the integration of remote work into Québec labour law, examining sectoral data, existing legislation and potential avenues for reform. Three practical issues will be explored:
- the use of replacement workers in a remote work environment, and the concept of “establishment” in labour legislation;
- how to ensure compliance when managing accommodation requests related to remote work
- the implementation of return-to-work policies
