Overview

As the United States moves towards an international reference pricing model in an effort to reduce prescription drug costs, questions arise regarding the potential impacts on drug pricing and marketing in OECD reference countries.

This important webinar will provide an overview of the Most Favored Nation (MFN) GLOBE and GUARD pricing models proposed by the Trump administration in December 2025 and address potential Canada specific concerns.

The panel will include perspectives from leading Canadian and US drug pricing lawyers, Canadian health policy experts (including the former Executive Director of the PMPRB and VP of CADTH), and the Ontario Ministry of Health.

The session will be moderated by The Honourable Christine Elliott, former Ontario Minister of Health and Deputy Premier.
