This conference is available in French only.
The Autorité des marchés publics (AMP) plays a central role in overseeing the public procurement markets in Québec. Its investigative powers, integrity oversight and decisions can have significant repercussions for the operations, reputation and business prospects of the affected organizations.
It is therefore crucial for companies to have a clear understanding of their obligations, their risk exposure, and available remedies when subject to any action taken by the AMP.
During this conference, Marc James Tacheji, Annie Bernard and Camille Duguay will examine recent developments relating to applications for authorisation (or renewal thereof), integrity audits, as well as the mechanisms available for challenging AMP decisions and listings on the RENA (Register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts).
Topics will include:
- AMP’s investigative powers and their scope
- Integrity audits and RENA-related risks
- Best practices for companies subject to an integrity audit
- Remedies available for challenging an AMP decision
- Recent developments and case law trends
- Risk prevention and management strategies
This training is intended for business executives, legal advisors, compliance officers, managers, and professionals involved in public procurement.
Participants will gain practical tools to better anticipate actions taken by the AMP, react effectively during integrity audits, and strengthen their public procurement compliance practices.
